Where is the Hub?

The Hub is situated on Level 1 of the Hospital. It can be accessed via the corridor that leads to the doors opposite Entrance 11. Out of hours (19:00 - 07:00) this is the point of entry and exit.

During the rest of the day the Hub can be accessed via the staircase near the Boardroom (behind Main Reception).

Information about Accessing the Hub Building

Access to the Hub is step free if using the corridor near the Discharge Lounge (doors opposite Entrance 11 on Level 1). The entrance doors to the Hub are standard fire doors and may be challenging to open manually for some people in wheelchairs or mobility scooters. The entrance door is wide enough for wheelchairs and mobility scooters. The Hub is on one level (there are no slopes or areas that have steps) and has laminated flooring throughout. There is enough space for wheelchairs and mobility scooters to move around the Hub.

The swipe card access box and door release button are easily accessible.

Assistance is available from staff during staffed hours.
