Evidence based practice is important and listed here is a selection of resources to help you find the best evidence available.

Databases

Please see below for the links to the individual databases for searching. You can set personal accounts in all of these to be able to save and export your search results. 
EBSCO (Click on OpenAthens Login): CINAHL / Medline
ProQuest (Click on Log in through your library to access more features then find your organisation): BNI / PsycInfo / Medline
Ovid (Click on OpenAthens then find your organisation): AMED / EMBASE / EMCARE / HMIC / Medline

Searching

There are eLearning modules available on the elfh website. These are designed to help the healthcare workforce (clinical and non-clinical) build confidence to search published literature for articles and evidence relevant to their work, study and research.

Critical Appraisal

There is a eLearning for Healthcare (elfh) course available on critical appraisal. There are 8 sessions available with each topic taking approximately 30 minutes to complete.
